“As long as you try to stop a pain, you’re repressing part that needs to be expressed. That is the cause of pain. The cause of pain is not allowing who you are to express, in some way or some element of life. As long as you try to stop pain, and/or judge pain as being wrong you’re not being WITH pain. Just like someone is angry all the time is not really EVER angry. They are in the mind, they are in the concept of anger, if they actually FELT the anger they would punch something, they’d yell and in a couple of moments it would be OVER. Remember, the emotional brain controls the threshold of excitability of every sensory and motor neuron of the body. So, if someone is bound-up they are not being honest with themselves, simple.”

"The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you....
Don't go back to sleep....
You must ask for what you really want.
Don't go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth across the doorsill where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don't go back to sleep". ~ Rumi

We all must be wounded in life...

“We all must be wounded in life, and the bigger the gift we have to give, the bigger the wound is. In life we must be wounded to crack us open to shape us for our destiny of service to other people. Like it or not it’s just the way it is. Now you can focus on ‘poor me, this is the reason my life is the way it is’ or you can say ‘Wow, I was cracked open early in my life because I have a lot of gifts to give’. It doesn’t matter which is true or which is false. One will make you ill and the other will liberate you….

So, it’s a choice.”
